Satisfaction Guaranteed
At Sofatica®, we believe you should fall in love with your sofa, completely. That’s why every purchase comes with a 60-day trial. Live with it, lounge on it, and make sure it feels like home. If you’re not absolutely in love, we'll refund you for it.
To help us make the process smooth and sustainable, please retain all original packaging during your trial period (60 days). Returns can only be accepted in original packaging to prevent damage in transit and ensure safe handling at our warehouse.
The Return Process
Every Sofatica® modular sofa is shipped in individually packed modules, designed for easy handling and minimal waste. Cushion covers and core components arrive in separate boxes to protect the materials and streamline your setup.
For the best and simplest return experience, please follow these steps:
- Keep the original boxes and internal packaging until you’ve confirmed that your sofa is the right fit.
- Contact us within 60 days of delivery at hello@sofatica.com to initiate your return. Our support team will provide return shipping labels and detailed repackaging instructions.
- Once your return has been received and inspected, we’ll issue a 100% refund to your original payment method.
We make it our goal to ensure that every return is handled quickly, respectfully, and with as little environmental impact as possible.
Refunds
Refunds are issued within 10–12 business days after the returned item arrives at our warehouse and passes inspection. Your financial institution may take an additional 5–7 business days to post the refund to your account.
Returned items must be:
- In clean, resalable condition.
- In new, unused condition with no alterations.
- Free of odors, stains, pet hair, or visible damage.
- Complete with all original parts, cushions, and packaging.
If any of these conditions are not met, a partial refund or denial of refund may apply based on the inspection results.
If you experience a delay beyond the normal processing window, please contact us, we’re happy to assist and follow up with your bank directly if needed.
Return Costs & Refund Deductions
We believe in being upfront about return-related costs:
- A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Customers are responsible for the cost of the return shipping label, which will also be deducted from the refund.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Cancellations
We understand that your plans can change. If you change your mind:

Within 24 hours of purchase: Orders canceled before shipment will incur a 5% transaction fee.
- After 24 hours of purchase: Orders canceled before shipment will incur a 10% cancellation fee.
If your order has already shipped, you can still cancel by contacting hello@sofatica.com. Our team will assist you with the return under our standard 60-day policy once the shipment arrives.
In Case of Damage or Defect
We take quality control seriously, but if your product arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
To help us resolve your claim efficiently:

Email hello@sofatica.com with your order number, detailed description, photos and videos of both the product and its packaging.

This documentation allows us to identify whether the issue occurred during production or shipping and expedite a replacement or refund.
Please note that damage claims reported beyond 48 hours of delivery may not be eligible for resolution, as carriers require timely reporting for coverage.
Limited Warranty
Every Sofatica® sofa is built for real life and backed by our 10-Year Limited Warranty.
This warranty covers the original purchaser and applies only to products used under normal residential conditions.
Coverage Details

Residential Use: Enjoy peace of mind with 10-year coverage on all structural components made from metal or solid wood. For soft components, including fabric, stitching, zippers, and padding, we provide a 5-year warranty

Commercial Use: For offices, hotels, or cafés, Sofatica offers 1-year structural coverage on metal or solid wood parts. Soft components are not covered under commercial use.
What’s Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear (including fabric pilling, slight feather shedding, or softening of foam over time).
- Damage from accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect.
- Improper cleaning methods, pet damage, or exposure to moisture or sunlight.
- Products not in original residential settings (such as commercial or rental use).
A manufacturing defect is defined as a fault in materials or workmanship that significantly affects the sofa’s structural integrity, comfort, or appearance. Due to the nature of materials used, slight variations in color, texture, and finish may occur. These do not qualify as defects
If you believe your product has a qualifying defect, please contact hello@sofatica.com with photos and proof of purchase. Our team will review your claim and, at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund the affected item.
Sustainability Commitment
To minimize waste, non-eligible return items may be donated to local charities with customer consent, supporting our community and reducing environmental impact.
